Fr. Don O'Reilly letter from the Augustinians
Dear Members of St.
John Neumann Parish,
I want to thank you for your gracious hospitality extended to us while we were
recently with you. Brother Bob, Father Jim and I felt that you received us in
the spirit of Christian fellowship. We are grateful.
I was delighted to see and hear your expressions of support for Father Russ. I knew he was diligently working at bringing clarity to parish finances as well as reconciliation to those who had been estranged, for a variety of reasons, in the past. Father Russ’ ministry is an expression of the Augustinians’ desire to live Christ among you by virtue of good stewardship and charity to all.
Be assured of my continued prayers for you and for the parish. I know that you are praying for Father Russ as he formally assumes leadership of the parish and for Father Thom as he takes this time in his life to be well.

Finance & Parish Council Chairperson Letter
Dear SJN Family,
On behalf of the Finance and Parish Councils, we would like to thank all of you for your support these past few months and for your participation at the “Town Hall” meeting last Monday evening. Whether you attended in person, submitted a written question, or simply said a prayer for your parish leadership, you expressed your care and concern for SJN in some way and you became more deeply involved in the life of your parish community. Simply stated, SJN is a better place today because of your efforts. We are extremely proud of this parish and for the loving support that you have expressed for Fr. Russ and for Fr. Thom.
We are humbled and encouraged by the support that has been expressed to both of us since this weekend, both through email and in person. We consider it a privilege to serve you and our parish in these roles. Your continued support and prayers for our parish are crucial to the healing and renewal of our parish family.
We take our responsibility to
communicate openly with you very seriously, and will begin regular
communications regarding both councils’ activities in the next few weeks. Keep
an eye on the bulletin for these messages. Please don’t hesitate to contact any
member of the Parish or Finance councils with your questions or concerns. Thank
you all for your support and prayers, and for the privilege to serve you.
